MSP Admin User Permissions

This role has top level access to most information for assigned client organizations. The following table describes the access level that an MSP Admin role has for an assigned client organization.
Note: The MSP Admin role has the ability to assign the MSP Admin role to an existing Client Services MSP or a Finance MSP.
Area/Permission Access Level Description
Client Organization Edit/View User can view and edit any information for the client, including supplier information. For more information about editing client information, see Client Configuration.
User Management Create/Edit/View User can add any user role, including MSP Admins for their MSP Organization.
On/Off Boarding Create/Edit/View User can configure onboarding and offboarding items for engagements, and review pending items.

User also has access to manually accept items for users in a pending status. For more information about boarding items, see On/Offboarding Items.

Email Templates Create/Edit/View User can edit existing email templates for a client organization, and configure specific templates for a location. For more information about email templates, see Email Templates.
Supplier Organization
  • View - Supplier Organization information
  • Create/Edit/View - Supplier service contract information
  • View - Supplier worker information
  • Create/Edit/View - Supplier workers
User can view supplier information that is contracted with the client or MSP organization.

User can set up service contract information for a client, based on the location. Contract documents are defined in the document list. For more information about supplier contracts, see Supplier Configuration.

Requests/Engagements Create/Edit/View User can create requests for client, including managing the engagement workflow above approvers, if assigned.

User can manage elements within a request, such as set up interviews and review resumes.

Billing and Invoicing Create/View/Edit User can view and approve time card billing items submitted by a worker. User can also create invoices for approved billing items.
Contracts and RFIs Create/View/Edit User can add or modify any documents in the document list at the MSP organization level.

Documents defined at the MSP organization level flow to the client, and then supplier level. For more information about the document list, see Agreements and RFI Documents.
