Parent Supplier Organization

Parent supplier organizations are used to group supplier organizations by country. Grouping organizations makes it easier for the MSP organization to locate and track activity throughout the system. The parent organization itself is a supplier organization.

You can view the list of parent organizations by navigating to Configuration > Supplier > Parent Company Profile. You can also access the parent company information by locating the supplier name on the Supplier tab, and clicking the parent organization's blue text link in the Parent column. The Parent Company Profile page is a list of configured organizations in the system.

You can access child organizations by selecting a name from the list and scrolling to the Suppliers table. The child supplier search function is based on the parent supplier's name, and is case sensitive. Ensure that your spelling in this input is correct.

For this view, you can modify the parent supplier's information. This view lets you modify the name, country (business location), and make the organization active/inactive. After you make your changes, click .
Note:
You cannot create a parent supplier without adding child supplier organizations.
