Project Configuration

The project configuration allows you to define how suppliers and agencies interact with stated client organization projects. Projects are engagements where the supplier manages all aspects of the work being completed, and submits billing items against milestones materials, or positions.

A project is typically managed by the agency that agrees on terms with the client organization. The project configuration adds control for a client organization by managing how workers are managed by the agency or supplier. For more information about this setting, see Project Settings.

This configuration also allows you to define a statement of work (SOW) document for projects in a client organization. The statement of work document contains agreed upon items in the project. You can use a redlining process for a pre-configured document template, or create a document from project details when you are determining the scope of your project. Parties attached to the project (suppliers, other program representatives, and client managers) can be added to review and mark up the document. For more information about redlining, see
