Note: A red asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
Note: You can specify a client manager to complete any associated surveys by setting the value in the Survey Managerfield in the Position Details. This field only appears on the engagement.
Note: If you are modifying the Time & Expense Approver or Survey Manager fields on an engagement, you can automatically copy over the hiring manager value to the field by clicking Copy Hiring Manager next to the text input box in Edit mode.
Note: Once a request is sent to suppliers for sourcing, you cannot edit the Work Location field.

# Positions Enter the number of positions for the request.

This field defaults to '1'.

Start Date Enter the start date for the engagement. This is when the worker assigned to the job can log hours for billing.

If the client organization is using a length of stay policy (number of days), the combination of start date and end date must not violate this configuration. For more information about setting a length of stay policy, see Approval Settings.

End Date Enter the end date of the engagement.

If the client organization is using a length of stay policy (number of days), the combination of start date and end date must not violate this configuration. For more information about setting a length of stay policy, see Approval Settings.

Schedule Notes Enter free form text for the request.
Client Location In the Other Client Location field, enter text for the client location associated with the record. The field automatically suggests locations configured for the client organizational level.

You can make the location default for the hiring manager of the request by selecting the Set as default check box. This automatically populates the location information when you create a request with the same hiring manager.

You can modify this field after confirming or filling the request.

All client locations are defined at the client organization's country level (Country > Settings > Location). For more information about countries, see Client Locations.

The supplier contract is also linked to the client location, that is, what job categories that the supplier can fill. If the job category/location is not specified in the supplier contract, the application cannot suggest it. You also cannot add a location on the fly for job categories defined in the supplier contract. For more information about configuring the contract, see Supplier Agreements.

Work Location In the Work Location field, enter text for the work location associated with the job record. The field automatically suggests locations configured for the client organization.
You can specify if the location is the same as the client location (Client Location field), a different client location, or that the work for the engagement is completed offsite.
Note: If you specify an offsite location, you must provide all location details.

You can control the display of the locations in this field by using the Display Full County List - Offsite Work Location - Staffing setting (Configuration > Settings > Configuration). If selected, the application displays all countries in this drop down. If not selected, the application displays countries configured for the client organization.

Using the radio buttons, select where the work is completed.

The Override Tax Location check box allows you change the tax location for the engagement.
Note: This setting does not appear for countries that use VAT tax calculations.
Reason From the Reasons drop down, select the hire reason for the job record. These values are configured at the client organization level (Configuration > Requisition > Reasons > Hire Reasons section). For more information about adding reasons, see Add a Reason.

You can also use the text box to enter free form comments as a reason.
