Modify the SourceMatch Configuration

Edit a client organization's SourceMatch configuration. The MSP Admin or SysAdmin permission is required to perform this task.

Enabling the SourceMatch feature in a client's configuration only allows a user's to view the navigation. Users must be registered in SourceMatch by an app Admin user. Once registered, an MSP can access the Admin console without additional registration or VMS permissions.

  1. Navigate to the Configuration view.
  2. Click SourceMatch.
  3. Click .
  4. In the SourceMatch Admin Console section, toggle the Enable menu option for MSP's access the SourceMatch Admin Console setting to 'On'. This action allows an MSP assigned to the client to access the app.
  5. In the SourceMatch for Managers section, enable the access options from the VMS as follows:
    • Enable access from the left menu option - Opens the SourceMatch app by clicking the SourceMatch option in the Manager view left navigation.
    • Enable access on "Create Request" page - Adds a link to the request creation page. Clicking the link opens the SourceMatch app.
    • Enable access on "Create Request" button click - Opens the SourceMatch app when the user clicks .
    Note:
    Only one access method is required for the client organization.
