Assign a Quote to a Project

You can assign a submitted quote from a supplier to the request, converting it to an engagement (status='Filled') after acceptance by the MSP or the client manager. Any configured approval routing must be completed before the request is converted. Details from a quote should also be configured in the project request before you complete this task.
This task is different than configuring a quoter, as defined in Define a Quote for a Project. This task specifically covers quotes that are configured and submitted by vendors/suppliers in the Supplier view. If you have the quote information, use the Quote tab to define and add the quote.
Note: For submitted quotes that require MSP review before they are visible to a client manager in the Manager view, you can click to set the quote status to 'Pending - Pending Client', and then click to accept the quote.
Once the request is converted, you need to configure the engagement details, and add any workers as necessary. For more information about these tasks, see Project Engagements in the Application.
Note: If you modify any of the quote details, the quote is resubmitted (click ) to the client manager on the request. The supplier is not notified before the client manager or the MSP accepts the quote.
  1. Navigate to the Home page in the MSP view.
  2. Click Requests.
  3. Select the request type by clicking the type button (or ALL).
