Data Anonymization Configuration

The data anonymization function in the VMS is configured at the client country level. These settings can satisfy specific laws and compliance defined by client organizations and/or the country of the client organization. Note: This conflagration does not appear if Configuration > Settings > Configuration > Allow candidate and worker personal data anonymization is disabled. See Client Settings.

Candidate Data

The candidates data configuration allows you to set a record anonymization interval for submitted candidate data. The automation runs daily.

This setting only applies to records that are not assigned to an engagement.

Setting Description
Enable automated data anonymization for unassigned candidates Toggle the switch to enable record anonymization for the client country. You can also automatically anonymize the candidate record for the supplier organization using the 'Anonymize candidate record for supplier' setting.
Retention period for unassigned candidates, days past request closed / cancelled date Sets the interval for the anonymization script. Enter the number of days that a candidate has not been assigned to retain the record. The script runs daily and anonymizes the record after the set number of days.
Anonymize candidate record for supplier Anonymizes the candidate record for the supplier organization when anonymization is complete for the client organization.

Workers Data

The Staffing workers configuration allows you to set up retention policy for staffing worker's personal data. The retention policy defines if personal data of a worker can be removed or not.

Setting Description
Full calendar years passed from the latest - engagement end date or last billing created date The number of full calendar years after the worker's engagement end date or billing date to keep the data.
Number of days passed from the latest - engagement end date or last billing created date The number of days after the worker's engagement end date or billing date to keep the data.
