Approve or Reject Billing

You can approve or reject billing items that are still in the 'Pending' status. The 'Billing' permission is required to complete this task.
Note: You can approve or reject billing items directly on the Billing tab of the engagement.
Note: You can also approve or reject all items for a billing line by not making a selection and click .
Note: Rejected and resolved billing items can be viewed on the Rejected tab (Billing > Rejected). Resolved items are filtered out by default, but you can include them in the table view by selecting the Include Resolved Items check box above the table. The counter of items displayed changes when this filter is applied/removed.
  1. Navigate to the Billing page in the MSP view.
  2. Click the Billing tab.
  3. Click Approve Billing.
  4. In the Billing Approval List, from the Manager drop down, select the client manager for the billing items.
    This selection filters billing items by the client manager for engagements assigned to the MSP.
  5. Using the radio buttons, select one of the following:
    • Self - Displays billing items for engagements assigned to the client manager.
    • Delegate - Displays billing items for engagements that are delegated to the client manager for approval. For more information about delegation, see Delegation.
    • All - Displays all billing items for the client manager.
  6. Optional: Enter the worker's name in the Worker field to filter the search results.
  7. Click .
  8. In the Billing List, select the check boxes of the billing items to approve or reject.
  9. Click or .
