Modify the General Instructional Text Configuration

Configure instructional text for client views in the application.
  1. Navigate to the Clients page on the Configuration view.
  2. Click the link in the NAME column for the client whose information you want to modify.
    The Client Info page appears.
  3. Select Settings > Instructional Text in the left navigation menu.
  4. Select one of the following tabs:
    TabDescription
    General You can customize the instructional text that appears in different message areas in the application that most users access.
    Approval Routing You can customize the instructional text that appears in the Approval Routing workflow related message areas in the application.
    Applicant Portal You can customize the instructional text that appears in the Applicant Portal workflow related message areas in the application.
    Note: This option only displays if you have the Applicant Portal functionality enabled.
    Home Page You can customize the instructional text on a client manager's home page ('Client' or Manager view). For more information about this page, see Home Page.
  5. Click .
  6. Select one of the following options in the Display Options column:
    Display OptionDescription
    Default Select this option to use the standard instructional text that the application originally provides. Some message areas might not have any instructional text by default.
    Custom Select this option to replace the default instructional text that the application provides. If you select this option, enter the custom text in the Text Display text box that appears.
    Don't Display Any Text Select this option to remove any instructional text for the message area.
