Custom Fields Reference List Configuration

You can configure lists of custom values available in the custom fields that you add for a client organization. The types of lists are paired with input types, as configured in the Validation settings for the field. For more information about setting up custom fields, see Add Custom Fields.

It is important to note that if you are setting up a list for a certain business case that requires a specific validation type, ensure that you include the validation configuration when you set up the custom field.

Auxiliary fields are used to store billing information to be included in invoicing and reporting. If the client organization has an integration configured, then the data is included in the reported values feed. You can configure two types of auxiliary field, billing and requisition. The billing auxiliary information is added to the line item when a user selects a value from a configured billing custom field. The requisition auxiliary fields are used to override a corresponding billing auxiliary field value that is inserted when the value is used for billing allocation. This field is free form text, and appears in the Allocation tab of the engagement. For more information about this process, see Configure Auxiliary Fields.
