Configure Auxiliary Fields

Add auxiliary fields to store data used in invoicing and billing. These fields are non-editable by a user in any of the views.

Auxiliary fields in a reference list are related to each other. If you need to configure a requisition auxiliary field, you must enable the corresponding billing field.

  1. Navigate to the Clients page on the Configuration view.
  2. Click the link in the NAME column for the client whose information you want to modify.
    The Client Info page appears.
  3. Select Settings > CF Reference List on the left navigation menu.
  4. Click the Auxiliary tab.
  5. Click .
  6. Select the field to enable by clicking the check box in the Active column. Fields are activated for the following uses:
    • Billing - Additional billing information inserted for invoicing and reporting. If the user selects the corresponding value from the billing custom field, this value is appended to the reported value. For more information about billing custom fields, see Custom Fields Options by Workflow.
    • Requisition - If you activate this field type, you can override the billing value inserted as an option in the Allocation section of the engagement. Only activate this field type for billing auxiliary fields that you manually need to override.
    Note: You can activate all of the fields by clicking the check box in the header row of the Active column.
