Department Hierarchy

Departments can be configured within the client organization. You can define any number of sub-departments for a department, all children under the parent department. Each department or sub department can have multiple departments configured.
Note: You must define a sub-department structure that matches you level structure. For example, if you define three levels for the client organization, then you must define three departments.

Departments that you add to the client organization follow the organizational levels that you define on the Levels tab of the Settings > Departments. For example, if you configure a client organization hierarchy with four levels, when you are adding departments, you can only add departments to those four levels, that is, one parent department, and three levels of sub departments.
