Supplier Users Template

The fields described in this reference information must appear in an upload file in the order listed here. The header value also must match the field names in this reference information. If not, you receive an error. Duplicate checking is applied during upload. If matching values are detected, the process errors out.
Note:
If you do not have the correct permissions, you can also create a supplier user for a supplier organization by following the steps in this topic: Configure a User. Supplier user permissions are outlined in this topic: Supplier User Permissions.

First Name

Last Name

Email

  • Must be email address format, for example, [email protected]
 Required The user's email address.

If the Username field is blank, this value is used by default.

Username

 No. If field is left blank, the supplier's username is set to the value in the Email column by default. The user's username (used for logging into the application.

Supplier ID
  • Numeric
  • Maximum 8 digits
 Required The identifier of the supplier user's supplier organization. This value can be located in the Supplier # column on Configuration > Supplier > Supplier or the Supplier ID field (Configuration > Supplier > <supplier_name> > General Info.

Duplicate checking is applied during upload.
Permission ID
  • Numeric
  • Maximum 8 digits
 Required
Note:
This value is not required if you are updating the supplier user's record.
 The user's VMS permissions. Multiple permissions can be assigned to the user's account. See Supplier User Permissions.
Preferred Language
  • Alphanumeric - see description.
 No The preferred application language. The user can change this at any time on the login screen.
