Client Location Leave Tracking

These settings appear for a client country in Requisition > Leave Tracking.

Leave tracking in the VMS defines how supported time off in engagements is handled. Time off include sick time, PTO, and other types of supported leave.

Note: This functionality is only available for the Payroll engagements.

There are two supported methods for tracking leave in the VMS, PeopleSoft ERP and Dayforce HCM. Both are third party integrations. PeopleSoft only supports one type of leave, and Dayforce supports multiple leave types. Both integrations are configured in the VMS with earn codes. Dayforce is only supported in the United States.

Each method requires different leave inputs. PeopleSoft ERP records the leave selected on a submitted timecard in the VMS. Dayforce HCM requires a user to log into the third-party application, configure the leave, and save. When the worker's timecard is opened in the VMS, the leave time is populated with the correct dates/times (partial or entire day off).

Note: Leave Tracking is only available for Hourly 1 and Hourly 4 time cards. For more information about these time cards, see Time Card Types.
Setting Description
Payroll Engagements Specifies how leave for Payroll engagements is handled. Select from the following:
  • Sick time on timecards routes to MSP for review - No integration. MSP must review and follow standard workflow for submitted sick time.
  • Use Leave Tracking on supported timecards - Integration is used. If you select this option, complete the Payroll Engagement Leave Data Source setting.
